Sidebar walkthrough

In TaskOrbiter, all of your navigation can be handled in your sidebar. You have the outer sidebar and then you have the inner sidebar.Your outer sidebar is where you can access your main navigation which includes Home, Search, Inbox, Calls and Chat. You will also see all of your notifications here and you can see your Workspace avatar at the top and the ability to invite others and open your account.

The inner sidebar is where you can create a new task, see tasks that are under My Tasks and items that are due today. You will also see your Spaces and the ability to create ones, along with your pages. In addition to this, if you have any questions, you can easily access our help center from within TaskOrbiter that walk you through our features.

Outer sidebar (top)

This is your main navigation that you can use to move between Workspaces, go back home, search your Workspace, check notifications, start video calls and look at your chat.

1. My Workspaces – From here you can change between Workspaces or create a new one. You can also see if you are a member or owner of the workspace, see your plan level.

2. Home – When clicking this, it will always take you back to My Tasks.

3. Search – This allows you to search across your Workspace that way you can find tasks from within your spaces or pages.

4. Inbox – From here you can see all of your notifications for your Workspace which may include updates to billing to task updates.

5. Calls – If your Workspace has this app enabled based on your plan level, you will be able to start calls with members of your Workspace.

6. Chat – If your Workspace has this app enabled based on your plan level, you will be able to chat with members of your Workspace.

7. Invite others – When clicking this button you can invite others to join you in your Workspace so you can work together and collaborate.

8. My account – By clicking your avatar you can go to your account settings, contact support or log out of your Workspace.

Inner sidebar

Your inner sidebar will enable you to see content that is relevant to your the apps you have selected in your outer sidebar. The only time this inner sidebar will change is when you have Calls selected and it will show your Call history. In your inner sidebar you have the option to create a task, see items under My Tasks, item due today and see all of your Spaces. You can also create new spaces, add new pages and edit those pages from here.
