Create your first task

Tasks are how you keep track your work in TaskOrbiter. Each individual task can represent anything you are managing and you can keep them simple or add custom fields and tags to make them complex. Lets go over how to create your first task!

Keep in mind, there are several places you can create a task:

  1. In your sidebar, click the New Task button.
  2. When viewing a page in a Space, anywhere that says New Task.
  3. At the top of your page, you can click the Add Task.
Tip: If you’re on a Mac device, hit the hotkeys command + K  or ctrl + K if you are on a PC to open the new task action.

From your sidebar

  1. Navigate to TaskOrbiter.
  2. Make sure you have your sidebar opened.
  3. Click New Task.
  4. Now you can create a new task and do the following:

    3. Set a due date.
    4. Add a subtask.
    5. Plus so much more!
Tip: When you create a task you can place this task in a list. This list can either be your personal list or a list that you create for your pages.
